What goes on a project report front page
The front page — also called the title page — is the first sheet of your project report, before the certificate, declaration, and acknowledgement. Almost every university prescribes the same elements in the same order:
- Project title — at the top, in capitals.
- Type of report — “A Project Report”, “Mini Project Report”, “Seminar Report”, and so on.
- Degree and branch — the line “submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of the degree of …”.
- Submitted by — your name(s) and roll / USN / registration number(s).
- Guide — “Under the guidance of …” with the guide's name and designation.
- Department, college, and university — usually in capitals, often with the college logo between the guide block and the department line.
- Month and year of submission, at the bottom.
This generator builds that exact title page. Need the declaration and acknowledgement pages too? They sit a few pages later in the same front matter.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should a project report front page include?
The project title, the type of report, the degree and branch it is submitted for, the name(s) and roll number(s) of the student(s), the guide's name and designation, the department, the college or institute, the university, and the submission month and year — usually in that order, as prescribed in the report format.
Is the front page the same as the title page?
Yes. In an Indian project report the front page and the title page mean the same thing — the first printed sheet that names the project, the author, the guide, and the institution. It comes before the certificate, declaration, and acknowledgement.
Can I make a front page for a group project?
Yes. Enter all the team members' names as a comma-separated list, and their roll or USN numbers in the same order. The generator pairs each name with its roll number under “Submitted by”.
How do I download the front page as a PDF?
Fill in the fields and click Download PDF. Your browser opens its print dialog — choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. Only the A4 title-page sheet prints; the form, navigation, and FAQ are hidden.
