As of 1 January 2026, Mumbai officially repealed the formula-based CGPA-to-percentage conversion (Circular Exam/Result/803 of 2026): general-stream programmes had used (CGPA × 7.1) + 11 until that point, engineering had used (CGPA × 7.4) + 12 above CGPA 7. The replacement is an opt-in conversion certificate computed from raw semester marks.
