The replacement is an opt-in conversion certificate computed from raw semester marks. University of Mumbai uses the formula Percentage = (CGPA × 7.1) + 11 to convert CGPA to percentage. The reverse formula is:

CGPA = (Percentage - 11) ÷ 7.1

Example: If your percentage is 78%: CGPA = (78 - 11) ÷ 7.1 = 9.44
